Is Jamaica Safe for tourists?

Generally, yes. While crime rates are high in Jamaica, the crime tends to be centered particularly in and around certain areas of Kingston and Montego Bay.  The US almost always has a level 3 or 4 travel advisory due to high crime in those areas. These incidents are generally confined to inner city neighborhoods and not in the tourists corridors. Of course, no travel can ever be 100% safe so as always, stay vigilant and we recommend you travel through our bus company or other reputable tour guides.
